104 Nights in a Year

104 Nights the Underground Sound!

Basically this blog is all about those off you who live for nothing more then the best beats of dnb, dubstep, future beat as well as the rest of the dance spectrum. We really would like if you guys would subscribe or become followers, as well as leave comments in order for us to know that people are both looking at and hopefully enjoying the blog. The concept in the name of the blog is beacause personally we only really live roughly 104 night in a year in ourselves and those are the 52 fridays and 52 saturdays in each year, where we can drink up dance and listen to all our favourite chunes on speaker rigs way beyond what we could have in our houses. Big Up! and enjoy the beats...

Ouch's Gems Of The Week

Joker - Tron

Tron instant anthem. Voted number 1 producer by Dubstep Forum awards, his production skills are of the highest level and his remixes breath new life into tracks, he's even got his own label now Kapsize. Pretty impressive for a man of just 20. I first heard this played at the night owl melbourne, I watched and listened as Tes La Rok placed his exclusive 12 inch on the technic and was left speechless.
Tron starts off very menacingly with only the snare present, the shimmering synth sound slowly works its way in and then he drops a truly west coast bassline that will blow you away. This toon has already been getting massive playtime, but has only just been released on beatport including Joker's VIP.

I've got a high quality rip but anyone who truly values the effort of a top producer like Joker will fork out the cash for this one.

Pinch - The Boxer

Unreleased monster from Tectonic Big Dog Pinch. He dropped this on a recent mix for Triple J and at Heavy Innit last week. Quote from a recent interview "To put it bluntly, it's probably the first rewind tune that I've made since [2006's] "Punisher." It truly is rewind material, the drums have a very tribal sound and echo and are interrupted until an unbelievably heavy sub bass synth drops. Much more  dancefloor friendly to the usual bass driven madness he makes. Take note people this is the first tune he's made a track purely on Logic upgrading from FL, this is an incredibly encouraging sign of things to come.

I haven't found a decent rip of this one yet but check out the youtube clip below.

Noisia - Split The Atom (LP)
Hollands finest sonic troopers Noisia have released their Album 'Split The Atom'. Experimental Clips, industrial madness, bass infused filth these elements make up the basis for what is truly a noisy album. My personal favourite Alpha Centauri is as hard hitting as they come, Machine Gun will blow your head off and the collaboration with Foreign Beggars beef the LP to boiling point.
