The West Side is where it's at right now, California is really kicking off with some amazing artists exhibiting their own unique take on electronica/ jazz/ hip hop/ Dubstep.
While the music coming from LA right now is an acquired taste for sure, with artists such as Nocando, Nosaj Thing, Daedelus, Gaslamp Killer and Flying Lotus at the helm, there is more than likely something for everyone coming from the scene.
Miss BBC has been touting the scene for years now as a hot bed of musical genius and only now, thanks in no small part to Flying Lotus' recent and critically acclaimed album "Cosmogramma", people are standing up and taking notice of the Californian goings on.
This is yet more proof that the world of electronic music knows no bounds and still  has a lot to give, with artists such as these perfect examples.
You now have another reason to watch LA, it's not just about the Brangelina's and Robsten's anymore, there's music to be heard.
