104 Nights in a Year

104 Nights the Underground Sound!

Basically this blog is all about those off you who live for nothing more then the best beats of dnb, dubstep, future beat as well as the rest of the dance spectrum. We really would like if you guys would subscribe or become followers, as well as leave comments in order for us to know that people are both looking at and hopefully enjoying the blog. The concept in the name of the blog is beacause personally we only really live roughly 104 night in a year in ourselves and those are the 52 fridays and 52 saturdays in each year, where we can drink up dance and listen to all our favourite chunes on speaker rigs way beyond what we could have in our houses. Big Up! and enjoy the beats...

Ouch! Time to Drop Some Knowledge!

NETSKY;
After having some time to sit and soak up Netsky's first LP and major release on Hospital records, it's pretty safe to say this Belgian Boy Wonder is the real deal. With liquid anthems "Iron heart" and "Secret Agent" sure to get a heavy rinsing across dancefloor's worldwide. The majority of the tracks are far from suited to a dark club environment.
Just sitting and listening through you can really appreciate the time, thought and patience that has gone into producing such an accomplished body of work for someone so early in his career. This is Sunday session liquid drum and bass at it's best.
Also listen out for Netsky's take on dubstep with "I Can't Hold It" a real melodic roller.

 Here's the Official Video for Netsky's "Iron Heart"
If you digging this track, why not buy it now available on Beatport and Itunes.

CULTURE SHOCK;

Another DnB up and comer Culture Shock from Ram records has finally released his 12"
Bad Red/Surprise feat. Furlonge. After a preview of this track in last year's Sub Focus essential mix, DnB fans everywhere have been biding their time for a release. Already rinsed in Podcast 104! this will be the track that people will remember as where it really kicked for Culture Shock.
I'm not one for giving out handout's but ill happily give you this oldie but a goodie,

BAR 9;
Bar 9 is quickly rising up the ranks as one of the prime producers in the Dubstep Scene. His no hold barred bass assault is getting him requests for remixes from high profile artists such as Noisia, Example and Sidney Samson. Keep your eyes peeled this dood's gonna explode!

PROXY;

Whip out your gun's people the Proxy's first official release for the year has just dropped.
Vibrate this year's Raven? Not quite but alot of fun nonetheless. Similar to previous releases Din Dah and Ready to Watching the track chugs away with a menacing force. With the vibe and sound that we've come to love and respect from a man who only 18 months ago was playing to 50 people in a small club in melbourne, in retrospect to packing out a major stage at Winter Sound System.
Managing his own label mako records, this now Turbo favourite is the real deal. Lp confirmed release unkown.
Cowbells at the ready.

I cant possibly give this tune away but I can let you listen to it in my Proxy favourites mix
enjoy, (listen out for Vibrate 13 minutes in)

LORN;

Before I bail out for the weekend check out the latest Brainfeeder Imprint 'Lorn' already a favourite for me and Flav. A much darker take on that current futurebeat sound, Lorn isolated himself from friends and family for 8 months in a house by a Lake to complete the Lp, to a standard he was truly satisfied with.
His album 'Nothing Else' is available to buy now on Itunes.
